The Bahujan Left Front  (BLF) State office will be inaugurated on March 19 by Gujarat Dalit leader Jignesh Mewani, announced State BLF Chairman Nalla Suryaprakash while speaking to reporters at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram. The Front comprising 28 parties will strive for achieving social justice in Telangana State.

Musheerabad: The Bahujan Left Front (BLF) State office will be inaugurated on March 19 by Gujarat Dalit leader Jignesh Mewani, announced State BLF Chairman Nalla Suryaprakash while speaking to reporters at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram. The Front comprising 28 parties will strive for achieving social justice in Telangana State.

Suryaprakash disclosed that the Front would contest 119 seats in the 2019 elections. He said the BLF tickets would be distributed to all castes based on their population percentage. However, he stated that candidates belonging to SC, ST and BC communities would be fielded.

He demanded the BJP and Congress parties to explain how they would achieve social justice. He accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of organising ‘dramas’ in Delhi when the State Assembly itself could adopt a resolution increasing the reservations.

The BLF leader criticised the expulsion of two Congress MLAs and suspension of ten others as ‘undemocratic’. He accused the Assembly Speaker of taking a unilateral stand on the issue. Suryaprakash described both the Congress and TRS as anti-democratic parties and called for their defeat in the ensuing Assembly elections. Those present at the press conference included former MLA Cherupalli Sitaramulu, G Nagayya, G Ramulu, Annaram Nagaraju, Srinivas.
