Take part in green drive: Civic body chief to councillors

Pedda Amberpet: Municipal chairperson Edammala Dhanalaxmi asked councillors and staff to take coming up Haritha Haram programme as an additional responsibility, during the Council general meeting held at municipal office here on Monday.

The meeting discussed and accepted nine issues in agenda unanimously. The chairperson asked them to take necessary action to avoid water scarcity in summer. Vice-chairperson, ward councillors, co-option members, commissioner, officers and the staff were present.
