All set for Rythu Bandhu scheme: Collector

Vikarabad: The district Collector Syed Umar Jaleel said that all arrangements have been made for the distribution of new pattadar passbooks along with cheques under Rythubandhu scheme.

He reviewed a meeting with district officers, tahsildars, agriculture officers, bankers and farmer coordination committee members, here on Tuesday. The collector told the officials to publicise about the programme in villages. As many as 99 teams are formed in 56 distribution centres in the district, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Parigi MLA Rammohan Reddy said cheques under Rythu Bandhu will be given in second phase if there are any legal issues. He urged authorities to make sure that there is enough cash in Banks.
