Fallen trees create traffic jams

Hyderabad: Heavy rain with gales on Thursday disrupted public life at Basheerbagh, Nampally, Abids, Koti, Sultan Bazar, Lakdikapool and Khairatabad. There were reports of trees getting uprooted at many places. Vehicles were left stranded fallen trees blocked the roads.

Commuters faced tough time to reach their destination. Power supply was interrupted in some localities. Drains were seen over flowing on roads. Sanitation staff with the help of traffic police opening the manholes to avoid stagnation of rain water at main junctions.
