Rupees 3.4 crore sanctioned for IKP procurement centres
For the development of Indira Kranthi Pathakam (IKP) procurement centres in 8 villages under the purview of Agricultural Market Committee in Siddipet mandal, Rs 3.40 crore funds were sanctioned, said the Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao in a statement on Wednesday.

Due to the lack of Cement Concrete (CC) platforms for sifting the agricultural produce, the farmers in the mandal are facing problems to protect their crops from rains.
In order to construct new platforms at 8 IKP centres under Siddipet AMC, Rs 38 lakh at Chintamadaka village, Rs. 43 lakh for Irkode, Rs 38 for Pulluru, Rs. 25 lakh for Thornala, Rs 50 lakh for Jakkapur, Rs. 50 lakh for Ravurukula, Rs 50 lakh for Ponnala and Rs. 46 lakh for Mittapally villages sanctioned.
