Arekapudi Gandhi, MLA, on Thursday handed over the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques to two patients in the constituency to reimburse their hospital bills. Those who received the cheques were Srinivas (Rs 60, 000) of Allwyn Colony and Swathi (Rs 14,000) of Chandanagar.

Serilingampally: Arekapudi Gandhi, MLA, on Thursday handed over the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques to two patients in the constituency to reimburse their hospital bills. Those who received the cheques were Srinivas (Rs 60, 000) of Allwyn Colony and Swathi (Rs 14,000) of Chandanagar.

Addressing the gathering, Gandhi advised people to avail themselves of the TRS government’s welfare schemes. He said the government was working with the sole motive of people’s welfare.

Among those present were TRS leaders Sanjiva Reddy, Nayineni Chandrakanth, Kasinath Yadav, Chandramouli Sagar, Bharathamma, Ravi Kumar, and Ramu.MLA inspects drainage works at midnight

Vivekanandanagar: Legislator Arekapudi Gandhi undertook a surprise inspection from midnight to 4 am of the drainage works from Allwyn Colony bridge being built at a cost of Rs 43.5 lakh to assess the quality. He made several suggestions to officials overseeing the work.

Gandhi directed officials to ensure that there was no delay in the execution of work. Speaking later the MLA stated that the work was being taken up keeping in view the future needs. He promised to build quality roads to solve the traffic problems.
Among the officials present were: AE Hema Naik, Ward Member Karthik Rao, Colony association representatives Narsayya, Kumar.
