Rupees 60 lakh worth Ramzan gift packs distributed
Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Thursday distributed Rs 60 lakh worth gift packs to as many as 3,000 poor families of Muslim community as the largesse of Ramazan festival from the government with cooperation from RR group Companies here at a function. Each family was presented a gift pack worth Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 containing 7 articles.

Each family was presented a gift pack worth Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 containing 7 articles.
Speaking at the programme, the Minister said the government was presenting gift packs to every poor Muslim family to celebrate Ramazan with much delight. The Telangana government was also offering free education at abroad for the students of Muslim community in the state including residential schools and Shaadi Mubarak scheme for the poor in the community, highlighted the Minister who noted to utilise the schemes for their development.
Before that, the Minister distributed cheques of Rs 9.86 lakh from Chief Minister Relief Fund to 35 beneficiaries from Siddipet, Chinna Kodur, Nangunoor and Keheda mandals at his residence in the morning.
MLC Farukh Hussain said every woman in the Muslim community should achieve the empowerment financially to lead their life on their own. RR Group chairman Ameed Hymad, who lauded the hard work of the Minister for the development of Siddipet, Municipal Chairman Rajanarsu and other councillors took part in the programme.
