5,000 pupils get school kits
For the students residing in and around Kukatpally, Sunday brought a lot of cheer as many who could ill-afford to buy books were given a complete school kit worth Rs Rs 450. The school kit comprised a school bag, five note books, a dictionary, pens and a water bottle. The volunteers were split into groups and each group consisted of 10 members.

Youth for Seva, an NGO that works in several cities such as Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi has been playing ‘Good Samaritan’ for years now. This year the school kits were distributed at PNM High School Kukatpally.
Youth for Seva, Hyderabad coordinator, Venkat said, “About 20 corporate companies join us by contributing for school kits and scores of employees pitch in by giving time for the cause. We also strive and help gather volunteers to teach the students at government school.”
