Yatra for animal protection from June 21

Basheerbagh: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a countrywide yatra for Animal Rally will be organised by Vegetarian Movement from June 21.

Addressing media at Press Club, Movement founder-president Srinivas said that the rally to create awareness among people on animal protection would be launched by Pyramid Spiritual Movement founder-president Subhash Patri at Kadthal in Rangareddy district. He lamented that 150 billion animals were killed annually across the world. Srinivas appealed to shed non-vegetarian foods and encourage vegetarian foods. Movement co-convener Divya was present.
