Aged woman lying on street shifted to old age home

Barkatpura: An old woman was found in a tragic situation, she was found lying on a footpath at Barkatpura Chaurasta in Amberpet.

After coming to know of the plight of the old woman, GHMC Deputy Commissioner D Balaiah took an immediate action and asked the municipal staff to take her into golden shelter at Amberpet. The aged woman who fell unconscious due to starvation was given food and lime juice. With unable to produce any identity, she has been shifted to Anand Old Age Home at Chanchalguda.
