MLA writes to official on govt lands grabbing
legislator Madhavaram Krishna Rao on Friday wrote a letter to Principal Secretary (Housing) Chitra Ramachandran on encroachment of vacant land at Housing Board apartments. Land earmarked for park, basic facilities has been encroached, the letter noted.

Land earmarked for park, basic facilities has been encroached, the letter noted. The legislator also said that 1,000 square yards of the site had been encroached in the land allotted for 2BHK houses at Khaitlapur.
He urged the official to conduct survey at APHB to avert encroachment. The legislator bluntly told the officials that he will take initiative in complete the works if they are unable in doing them. Madhavaram reviewed water and sewerage works with GM Anil Kumar, Project manager Sridhar and other officials at GM office.
He instructed them to complete the works on war foot basis. Later he distributed bags to students and cheques each valued Rs 3,000 to meritorious students on behalf of Katta Suguna Gopaiah Memorial at Kukatpally Government School.
