Residents irked as road dug up sans intimation

Malkajgiri: The locals of East Anandbagh alleged that without prior intimation the Water Board of Malkajgiri deployed private labours to dig the roads to correct the pipeline leakage. When CI (traffic) learned about this through a homeguard Narasimha he obstructed the work for not having permission from the traffic police department.

"It is a busy road and digging of roads creates a problem. It gives way for massive traffic chaos and becomes herculean task to clear the traffic," he said. He further said that after 10 pm the Water Board department could undertake the repair works and asked the workers to fill the dig up pits.
