Anganwadi teacher booked for singeing child
Integrated Child Development Scheme district welfare official Jyotsna on Monday conducted a departmental inquiry against the Anganwadi teacher on the charges of singeing a student of Anganwadi school with a match stick. The teacher admitted to her offence of singeing the child to admonish her.

The teacher admitted to her offence of singeing the child to admonish her. However, villagers complained against her accusing the teacher of sprinkling chilli powder in the eyes of children previously.
They also complained that the teacher had denied the children, the expectant mothers and the lactating mother of eggs, given as a nutritional supplement, serving the eggs with Aadhaar linkage. The probing officials said that a complaint had been lodged with the police. The teacher would be served a memo and the inquiry report would be submitted to the District Collector.
