ACDS conducts workshop on Damon Self Ligation System with Tads
The Department of Orthodontics of Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS) conducted a workshop on ‘Damon Self Ligation System with Tads’. Internationally renowned speaker Dr Abhishek Ghosh from Kolkata gave lectures and live demonstration on placement of infrazygomatic and buccal shelf screw, vector TAS and palatal implants for orthodontic correction on multiple patients.

The head of the department, Dr Prasad Chitra spoke on self-ligating orthodontic appliance systems with prominence to the latest Damon self-ligating appliance. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr KV Ramana Reddy, Principal of ACDS and the conveners of Hyderabad Orthodontic Study Group Dr Shubhakar Rao, Dr Chetan and Dr Sunil. Around 60 Orthodontists from Hyderabad attended the workshop.
