Water Board asked to expedite pending works
Municipal Administration Department has asked the Water Board to speed up its pending works as early as possible before the monsoon turns active. In a review meeting held on Friday, Municipal Administration Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar interacted with Water Board officials.

He enquired about the HUDCO, ORR, new connection scheme, road works and others. He asked the officials to carry out the works without compromising with quality and in time. Arvind said that Water Board engineers need to ensure that people were not affected due to repair and restoration works. He said that all the works that were being taken up must be shared on twitter handles and other social media platforms.
Water Board managing director M Dana Kishore explained the current projects being taken up by the Board. He said that Water Board completed the road repair works of 677 km of 300 mm pipelines of the total 683 km. He further said that remaining works would be completed in next one week.
