Malkajgiri: As part of World Zoonosis Day celebration, the locals of Malkajgiri were given anti-rabies vaccine for the first time in the division, here on Friday.
Rabies is one of the zoonotic diseases that can be spread from animals to humans. The programme was organised at PVC Malkajgiri. Malkajgiri Corporator Jagadish Goud, District Veterinary and Animal Husbandry officer Dr Veeranadi, Dr Swathi attended the programme.
