Kapra: Panchayat employees and workers’ strike entered fifth day on Friday. BLF state secretary Ramesh visited the strike camp at Keesara MPP office and extended his support to them. He urged the State government to fulfill demands of the protestors.
The demands including salaries from grant and facilities on par with government employees, promotions to bill collectors, Rs five lakh insurance coverage instead of Janasri Insurance, hike in last rites amount to deceased employees from Rs 5,000 to 20,000. BLF mandal secretaries Satish, Ravi, Yousuf, Ramesh, Maraiah, Bhikshapathi, Srinivas, Narsing were present.
