Haritha Haram saplings await plantation at SR Nagar PS

S R Nagar: The aim of the state government to expand greenery is being watered down by SR Nagar police. It is evident from the fact that the saplings which are to be planted are left uncared at a corner in the police station.

The police brought saplings only to be in the good books of higher officials and aren’t concerned to provide pollution-free environment to the next generations to come. Most of the saplings have been found withered away as there isn’t anyone to water them.

Locals say that it would have been better if the police would have given the saplings to the visitors. The locals question the police on the use of keeping the saplings unplanted.
