Hyderabad: The alumni of St Alphonsus High School, one of the best institutions in Nalgonda, organised the reunion at Taj Banjara recently.

The students of 1982 batch reflected on their journey and how they carved out a niche for themselves in their respective fields.

The brain behind the reunion, MA Rahman gave a brief introduction about the meet. Pragnand M Busi in his inaugural address explained his journey and about his Global Aid, an NGO, which he was running along with his spouse.

MA Nayeem, High Court advocate, emphasised the need for lending a helping hand to the underprivileged. He sought the cooperation of the alumni in helping the needy.

Treading his path, C Srikanth Reddy underscored the importance of education and he said that he teaches in an orphanage as he felt that imparting quality education was utmost important.

Rahman while addressing the gathering passed a resolution forming a committee to help the kids belonging to lower income group and announced that he would donate Rs 50,000 for the cause.

Later, Annes Muqthadar, an alumnus and now a TRS leader, said he, too, would donate Rs 50,000. The alumni applauded their noble gesture.

Later, SWR Ansari and T Shyam Sunder Bablu regaled their friends with their crooning.

Some among the gathering recalled their school memories while others tickled the funny bones of their peers by recalling the funny incidents.

Abdul Aleem and others were present.
