Prayers for KCR at Yousufian Dargah
In wake of threats to the President of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), K Chandrasekhar Rao, his loyalists in Muslim community offered prayers for his well-being at Yousufian Dargah at Nampally on Monday. Earlier acting on the apprehensions expressed by the TRS leaders, the State government provided Z-plus security for KCR.
Hyderabad: In wake of threats to the President of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), K Chandrasekhar Rao, his loyalists in Muslim community offered prayers for his well-being at Yousufian Dargah at Nampally on Monday. Earlier acting on the apprehensions expressed by the TRS leaders, the State government provided Z-plus security for KCR.
According to dargah officials, the supporters of KCR offered ‘chadar’at the dargah and prayed for his safety. “We are praying for our leader who is fighting for our rights. He promised that once Telangana state was formed, it would be led by a Dalit Chief Minister and a Muslim Deputy Chief Minister” said Inayat Ali Baqri, TRS, state general secretary. Shabbir Ali, Incharge Yakutpura, M Khan, state secretary, Malakpet, Jahangir Pasha, city president minority cell, G Hussain, president, students’ wing, GHMC were among those who offered prayers at the dargah.
