T leaders plan to bid adieu to YSRCP

Mahbubnagar: Baffled by the announcement of resignations by their leaders YSR Congress party honorary president YS Vijayamma and president YS Jaganmohan Reddy to the MLA and MP posts respectively in protest against the decision to divide the state, the YSR Congress leaders from Telangana are in a dilemma. They feel that they are left at the crossroads with the open support for the united state announced by their leaders.

Several people have already announced that they were quitting the party while many others are also planning to say good bye. There have been discussions throughout the Telangana over their party decision and many feel they are betrayed.
Right from the leaders to the village-level party workers have appears to be decided to quit the party.

According to information available, former MLA and district convener Edma Krishna Reddy, central committee member Bala Manemma, senior leaders Ravula Ravindranath Reddy, former MLA Swarna Sudhakar Reddy, Krishnamohan Reddy and others have already decided to submit their resignations to the party. However, it was not clear whether they would go back to the Congress party or join some other party.

It may be recalled that Narayanapet in-charge Reddigari Ravindar Reddy has already left the party along with followers. They are likely to join the Congress party. YSR Congress leaders in Devarakadra have also reportedly decided to quit the party. However, they are inclined to join the BJP, it is said.

Almost all leaders from Telangana strongly feel that they will have no future if they continue in YSR Congress. Some of them have been keeping their options open whether to join Congress, BJP or TRS. The district Congress leadership is also welcoming their decision to get them back to their fold. Kodangal in-charge Jagadiswar Reddy has decided to join the Congress party. Likewise, leaders from Jadcherla, Wanaparti, Nagar Kurnool, Maktal, Shadnagar assembly segments are on the way out, it is reported.
