TNGOs stage lunch hour demo

Medak: In response to the call given by the State TNGOs Association, the TNGOs here on Tuesday staged lunch hour demonstration throughout the district demanding introduction of T Bill in Parliament in this session. The TNGOs have staged protest demonstration at the Collectorate in Sangareddy, the district headquarters under the leadership of district TNGO association president Rajendar, secretary Srinivas Reddy. Similar demonstrations were held at Medak, Gajwel, Dubbaka, Narsapur, Jogipet, Patancheru, Narayankhed, Zaheerabad and other mandal headquarters. They warned the centre with dire consequences if they went back on the decision to divide the state at the behest of Seemandhra leaders.

At Siddhipet: The non-gazetted officers (TNGOs) staged a protest demonstration during the lunch hour here on Tuesday.
The leaders of TNGOs and the joint action committee raised slogans in favour of Telangana near the RDO office. Later, they staged rasta roko at Ambedkar Chourasta protesting against the arrest of TNGO leader Deviprasad disrupting the traffic for some time. They said that the Seemandhra leaders have launched a dubious agitation in Andhra region to stall the formation of Telangana which was a dream of sixty years. TNGO leader Srihari said that it was unjust to arrest Deviprasad who has been peacefully demonstrating. Parameswar, JAC leader demanded immediate unconditional release of TNGO leaders.
