Come September, TJAC lines up slew of programmes
Telangana JAC has lined up a slew of programmes including peace rallies, public meetings and ‘Mulki Martyrs Week’ in September. Elaborating details after a meeting held at TNGO Bhavan in Nampally on Tuesday, T JAC chief Prof Kodandaram said that a peace rally from City College to Indira Park would be held on September 7. And later, a public meeting would be staged at Indira Park marking the culmination of the peace initiative, he added.

Hyderabad: Telangana JAC has lined up a slew of programmes including peace rallies, public meetings and ‘Mulki Martyrs Week’ in September. Elaborating details after a meeting held at TNGO Bhavan in Nampally on Tuesday, T JAC chief Prof Kodandaram said that a peace rally from City College to Indira Park would be held on September 7. And later, a public meeting would be staged at Indira Park marking the culmination of the peace initiative, he added.
T JAC even decided to observe the first week of September as ‘Mulki Martyrs Week’ in memory of youth who were killed during ‘Non-Mulki go back agitation’ of 1952. Rallies, meetings and other programmes would be held in ten districts during this period. T JAC also gave a call for meetings in district headquarters on September 3 and 4.
T students meet Nizam College principal
Meanwhile representatives of Telangana Students JAC and Osmania University JAC submitted a representation to Nizam College principal for permission to ‘Telangana Vidyarthi Satyagraha’ meeting to be staged in college ground on September 7.
TS JAC state president Kailash Neta said that students would pay tributes to Telangana martyrs at Gun Park near Assembly and then proceed in a procession towards Nizam College via LB Stadium. He informed that student leaders are likely to meet police commissioner regarding permission for the meeting.
