The proccession of beautifully decked up Ganesha idols in different colours lent a festive look to the roads in Hyderabad. Devotees queued up on the Tank Bund road with their idols waiting for their turn to bid farewell to the elephant God, who\'s worshiped to remove all obstacles.

Youngsters could be seen lively dancing to the beats of the drums even as they shouted Ganpati Bappa Morya. Visarjan is currently underway at the Hussain Sagar Lake where the GHMC has made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth process. Idols are being placed on huge cranes that slowly descends to the water.
Security has been stepped up for the day so as to ensure no untoward incidents happen on a happy day such as this.
