The 13th Rural Technology and Crafts mela, which was held at the National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) campus, concluded on Monday. An estimated 10,000 visitors made a beeline to the mela on each day.The five-day mela was an opportunity for a cross-section of craft artisans, technocrats, innovators, stakeholders and the general public to come together and get the exposure to new crafts and rural technologies for further improvisation of the quality of art and technology.

NIRD director general Dr MV Rao was the chief organiser of the event. RTP project director Shivaram, deputy director Gangi Reddy and RTP consultant Mohammad Khan were the chief coordinators of the mela.
