The Ministry of Defence has sent a letter to Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) to lift all road restrictions. This follows the meeting of Telangana MPs with the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, who briefed him about the inconvience caused by the road blockade to residents living in the periphery of the Cantonment.
Defence Ministry tells Cantonment
The Ministry of Defence has sent a letter to Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) to lift all road restrictions. This follows the meeting of Telangana MPs with the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, who briefed him about the inconvience caused by the road blockade to residents living in the periphery of the Cantonment. It is learnt that the ministry has sent a letter to the SCB CEO Sujatha Gupta to lift all road restrictions soon. At present the Army roads are out of bounds for civilians between 10 pm and 7 am.
