Security heightened for CCL semis and finals

The Uppal Stadium will be seeing a lot of on-field action from movie stars this weekend. The first semi-final between Chennai Rhinos Vs Karnataka Bulldozers will be held at 2.30 pm today. At 7 pm, Telugu Warriors will faceoff with Mumbai Heroes. The final match between the qualifying teams will be held from 3 pm at the same venue on Sunday.

Security has been heightened for the matches with 250 traffic personnel, 631 law and order personnel, 10 sections of Armed forces and 2 fire tenders with fire fighting squad. 56 CCTV cameras have been installed around the stadium. The crowd will not be allowed to carry bags, banners, cell phones, cameras, binoculars, match boxes, lights, helmets, cigarettes, perfumes, eatables, carriages and water bottles.
