MCGM lauds GHMC’s schemes

The Urban Community Development (UCD) department of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) detailed various plans of the corporation in slums areas of the city to civic body officials from Mumbai. The authorities from Mumbai are on a study tour to Hyderabad.

Various schemes such as Vikasam, Aasara, street vendor policy, social security, Bangaru Talli, Dr YSR Abhayahastam, Jana Sree Bheema Yojana, night shelters, Driver Cum Owner, RO Water Plants etc was explained to the officials.Later the team visited the Rs 5-a-meal centre at Liberty Bus Stop. The officials praised the GHMC for the schemes.
