The University of Hyderabad (UoH) will organize the investiture ceremony to confer Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan with Honoris Causa on March 21st at 5.30 pm at the India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi. Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan was the founding director of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Delhi, and continues as its chairperson.

Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) will organize the investiture ceremony to confer Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan with Honoris Causa on March 21st at 5.30 pm at the India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi. Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan was the founding director of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Delhi, and continues as its chairperson.

In 2011, she was a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour, awarded by the Government of India. This event also coincides with the two-day round table conference on “Theater Pedagogy in a Digital Age: Methods, Models & Practices”, under the sponsorship of University Grants Commission (UGC) and UK-India Education Research Initiative (UKERI) organized by the School of Arts & Communication, UoH on 21st and 22nd of March.
