Karimnagar: Telangana Residential Schools Management Association (TRSMA) lambasted the State Government for encouraging corporate education while diluting the small private schools in the region.A The TRSMA organised a meeting here on Saturday and discussed about the problems being faced by private schools and the Government's anti-education policies. Speaking on the occasion, TRSMA district president Yadagiri Shekar Rao criticised the State Government for imposing restrictions on the school buses and condemned its new decision of not to permit buses that completed 15-years service for transporting the students. He also found fault with the Government's decision of not allowing the school buses for excursions and ordering the school managements to hire only the private travels' buses for excursion. "In the name of different rules and regulations, the Government is harassing the private school managements and is also collecting huge money from us. With this, we are forced to impose heavy fees on the parents," he lamented. The TRSMA president also said that due to the facility of downloading the SSC hall tickets from the website, many students were evading their school fees. He urged the Government not to encourage the corporate education at the cost of small private schools and to stop the harassment against them. Hundreds of TRSMA members were present.
