CPIKarimnagar: CPI senior leader Chada Venkata Reddy alleged that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was running without any aim and the development activity came to a grinding halt in the State. After unveiling a poster on 'Chalo Assembly' at the party office here on Monday, Mr Chada Venkata Reddy came down heavily on the Centre and State Governments saying that they had failed in all fronts and were implementing the lopsided policies. The problems like differences between Ministers, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy's style of functioning and his unilateral decisions and corruption charges against some of the Ministers are showing adverse impact on the State administration and the officials were unable to work effectively, Mr. Chada Venkata Reddy remarked. Referring to the 'Chalo Assembly' agitation proposed by Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) in Hyderabad on June 14 in protest against the delay in creation of Telangana State, the CPI leader lambasted Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and DGP Dinesh Reddy for not giving permission to the proposed Chalo Assembly programme and alleged that they were trying to suppress the Telangana agitation. Mr Venkata Reddy said that they would go ahead with the 'Chalo Assembly' programme and added that the call was given under inevitable circumstances due to delay in formation of Telangana State and the deceiving nature of Congress and other parties opposed to the demand. He also called upon the party cadre to take part in the proposed programme in large numbers and make the agitation a grand success. CPI district Secretary Marri Venkatswamy, Telangana JAC leaders Venkata Challaiah and Venkatesh and others were present.
