Khammam: Congress Deputy Floor Leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy demanded the State government to announce ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the parents of the infant who died in the Government Hospital on Sunday.
Reddy, who attributed the infant’s death to the negligence of the hospital staff, demanded the suspension of the employees concerned.
Katla Ranga Rao and Md Fazal were among others present. The leaders met Nerusula Nagamani, mother of the deceased infant, of Pallegudem village and enquired about the incident.
