On Wednesday, the Collector along with Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham launched a two-day awareness programme, Uddipana, for teachers at Ramannapet MPDO office in Yadadri district.

The MLA been paying Rs 5,000 monthly salary to each volunteer recruited under the Uddipana programme. As many as 483 students enrolled in LKG, UKG in government schools in Nakrekal constituency after the introduction of Uddipana programme.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector informed that on behalf of government the district administration has been taking all measures to provide quality education to children studying in government schools. Stating that infrastructure would be developed in all government schools and Anganwadi centres, Ramachandran advised teachers to utilise the training programmes and improve the English speaking and writing skills of students.

She informed that district administration was making out all efforts to provide breakfast to the students of government schools with the help of donors. Later, the Collector along with MLA Veeresham released fishlings into Ramannapet Peddacheruvu. Local public representativesand others attended the programme.
