Bhongir: State Chief Secretary S P Singh said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao formulated the purification of lands programme to address the issues of agriculture lands in the villages. The State Chief Secretary participated in the correction of land records programme held at MNR function hall in Bhongir on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said so far land purification of records was completed in 70 per cen villages of the State and exuded confidence that by the end of this year it may reach 92 per cen. He said the purification of pending of lands due to court cases, encroachments, POT cases and survey works will be finished in second phase with top priority.

He said the government will provide quality and fully secured new passbooks in the place of old passbooks. In future, farmers can get the agriculture loans from the banks through computerised records. He appreciated the revenue officials for their hard work and efforts. He urged the farmers to extend their cooperation to officials and lauded the District Collector Anitha Ramachandran and respective officials for carrying out the programme smoothly.
