Jangaon students selected for State-level test

Jangaon: Six students of Jangaon district were selected for the State-level test to be conducted soon by Telangana Mathematics Forum (TMF), informed the forum district vice-president E Laxminarayana.

In a release here on Wednesday, he said that the district-level Mathematics Talent Test was conducted by the TMF district chapter at Jangaon. 153 students, who topped mandal-level tests, participated in the test organised in connection with the birth anniversary of world famous Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, celebrated as National Mathematics Day on December 22.

The students, who were selected for State-level test are - V Pravalika (KGBV, Jaffargadh), L Susmitha (ZPHS Samudrala), S Ramya (ZPPSS Marigadi) S Vishwateja (ZPHS Malkapur), P Rakesh (TSMS Bachannapet) and M.Rakesh (ZPHS Malkapur). The DEO S Yadaiah, TMF district president Durga Prasad, general secretary Satheesh, vice-presidents Giridharachary Chary, VV Acharyulu, P Anitha, M Srinivas, Lachunayak and Ravindar, state general secretary Shyam Sundara Chary, state observer Vasudeva Reddy, ABV Junior College principal Kanaka Raju and the mementoes donor Pedda Venkatnarayana were present. The winning students were presented certificates and mementoes.
