Congress district president Aitham Satyam on Thursday appointed Nallapu Durga Prasad as party in-charge of Bhadrachalam constituency.
Khammam: Congress district president Aitham Satyam on Thursday appointed Nallapu Durga Prasad as party in-charge of Bhadrachalam constituency.
Receiving the appointment orders from Satyam here at the party office in Khammam on Thursday, Durga Prasad said he would strive for strengthening the Congress in the constituency under the able leadership of All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi besides spreading party ideology among people.
He thanked Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, former Union Minister Balram Naik and district president Aitham Satyam for the appointment.
Party leaders from Bhadrachalam Ch Ravi Kumar, Bireddy Sitarama Rao, T Narasimha Rao, Kumari Vasantha Rajeshwari, S Nagamani, Vijay Kumar, A Mahesh, K Krishna Mohan and Tajuddin congratulated Prasad on the day.
