Kothagudem: A man outraged a tribal woman’s modesty when she went to gather firewood at Krishna Nagar here on Thursday.
The woman belongs to tribal hamlet Devaiah Gumpu of Musali Madugu Gram panchayat. A man belonging to Krishna Nagar, stealthily followed her while she was on her way to collect firewood.
It is said that he outraged her modesty and beaten her black and blue in an isolated place. The victim is married and has two children. She lodged a complaint with Bugampahad police.
