Report on vacant posts in govt departments sought
District Collector Surendra Mohan ordered the officials concerned to submit a report of posts vacant in various government departments in the district within a week without fail. On Monday, after receiving applications from people during the Grievance Day (Prajavaani) programme held at Collectorate, the Collector instructed the officials to address the peoples’ issues at the earliest.

He instructed the officials to prepare list of beneficiaries to distribute loans to BCs, SCs, STs and Minorities by Minister Jagadish Reddy during the loan mela programme, planned to be conducted on February 15 at Suryapet town.
Later, he unveiled new year calendar-2018 designed by district Class 4 Employees’ Association. Joint Collector Sanjeeva Reddy, DRO Yadi Reddy, DSO Anuradha, DM Civil Supplies Rampathi, ICDS official Munnaiah, Minority Welfare Officer Srinivas, lead bank manager Srinivas and other officials took part in the programme.
