Khammam: It was not fair on the part of municipal officials who were harassing trolley auto drivers, said Centre for Indian Trade Union (CITU) district general secretary Kalyanam Venkateshwar Rao here in Khammam on Wednesday.

As many as 40 trolley auto drivers working under Khammam Municipal Corporation limits joined the Telangana Municipal Workers’ and Employment Union affiliated to the CITU under the leadership of Kalyanam Venkateshwar Rao here in Khammam on Wednesday.

The officials must co-operate with the trolley auto drivers as per the work orders issued to them without creating any obstacles and must not impose any restriction, he said.
