Youth creates stir by threatening to jump from court building in Suryapet
Tension built up here on Thursday when a youth, Sharath, climbed onto the court building to protest against alleged police harassment.

According to the sources, the wife of the youth, who is native of Gunjalur under Chivemla mandal, lodged a complaint against her husband. Saying that he had been harassing her.
The Chivemla police called Sharath to the police station as part of investigation. The youth alleged that he was ill-treated in the police station.
Vexed with wife’s attitude and police treatment, Sharath climbed onto the court building at the old bus stand in the town to highlight his grievance.
Suryapet town police rushed to the spot and persuaded him to get down from the court building. After counselling, police released him.
