Task Force raids shop to check food adulteration
Task Force officials conducted raids on shops that are allegedly selling the adulterated food items here on Wednesday.The raids followed a tiff-off that a section of traders were preparing sweets and samosas by using adulterated oil, flour and supplying them to cinema halls after packing them in packets.

The Task Force officials raided Venkateshwara Food Products, Sri Mahalakshmi Food Products, besides RLPL Bakery shops. Assistant Commissioner of Police (Task Force) Rehman said that without the permission of the government selling of various kinds of food items treated as crime.
Selling adulterated food stuff is a crime. Cases will be booked against the persons against erring traders, he said.
Task Force Circle Inspector Anjaneyulu along with other staff members were among the police personnel who raided the shops.
