Kothagudem: Against the target of Rs 16 crore Property tax collection, Rs 10 crore was collected till date, stated District Panchayat Officer Asha Latha. Speaking to the media at her office here on Tuesday, all steps were taken to collect 100 per cent Property tax before April 15.
Explaining the details of the collection this year, she said that 75 per cent collection was completed. While 73 panchayats have collected 100 per cent Property tax. The DPO directed the panchayat officers and staff to speed up the collection to reach the target before the due date.
