Nalgonda: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been paying special attention to bring happiness into the lives of the poor by providing shelter under 2 BHK scheme, said Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Thursday.

The Minsiter along with Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham visited Narketpally and Chityal mandals in the district. As a part of it, Jagadish Reddy laid foundation stone for hundred 2 BHK houses at an estimated cost of Rs 5.04 crore at Brahammana Vellamla village under Narketpally mandal and 54 two-bedroom houses at an estimated cost of Rs 2.82 crore at Gundrampally village under Chityal mandal.

He also inaugurated water plant established by Dashami Labs at Veeliminedu village under Chityal mandal Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the Chief Minister has been striving hard to provide houses to the neglected sections of people. He listed out various government schemes launched for the welfare of the people.

During his visit to Brahammana Vellemla village, the Minster interacted with farmers at local IKP centre and inquired about the procurement of the produce. In the programs, Joint Collector Naryana Reddy, RDO Venkata Chary, local officials and TRS leaders participated.
