Mahabubnagar: Lawyers in Narayanpet, Jadcherla and Mahbubnagar district boycotted their duties and staged a a protest, demanding that the government bring amendments to the Sec 41 (a).
According to the Bar Association members, recently the Home Ministry had amended the Sec 41 (a), giving free hand to the police to arrest anyone, if found to have committed a cognizable offence without any warrant from the court.
In response to the call given by the Telangana State Federation Advocates committee, lawyers boycotted the courts and staged protests.
