Ketepally (Nalgonda): District Medical and Health officer Bhanu Prasad Naik urged the medical staff and ASHA workers to encourage institutional deliveries at government hospitals.

On Wednesday, he visited KetepallyPrimary Health Centre and inspected the functioning of the hospital, stock of medicines and attendance of the staff.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the villagers were wasting the lot of money by approaching the corporate hospitals for treatments due to lack of awareness on availability of quality treatment and care at government hospitals. He advised the staff and ASHA workers to create awareness among the people on perfect treatment at government hospitals and KCR kits program.

He directed the staff to pay attention over spraying of chemicals to avoid the mosquitoes menace in the villages and also chlorination of tanks to purify water.

Mandal Medical officer Laxmikanth, MedicalStaff Jagadish Reddy, Rukma Reddy, Rajamma, Nirmala and Sushila were present.
