Khammam: State General Secretary of Telangana State Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (TS-MRPS) Mandula Prabhakar here on Thursday demanded that the State government establish Social Welfare University for the sake of poor students.
Prabhakar along with the representative of TS-MRPS released a poster of Mahasabha, to be held on May 24 in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Prabhakar said the TS-MRPS working president Vangapalli Srinivas along with students embarked on a cycle yatra, demanding that the government establish Social Welfare University in Khammam. The cycle Yatar which began on April 25 would reach Hyderabad on May 24 after covering all the districts.
A massive public meeting would be organised on May 24 at Hyderabad on the conclusion of cycle yatra, he said. He appealed the MRPS leaders, representatives of various people's organizations and student unions to attend the meeting in large numbers and make it grand success. Members of the Association Pulluri Mahendar, Kattaja Ashok, Y Yakash, D Sunil and D Satish were present.
