​Khammam: Youth Congress activists here on Monday organised a blood donation camp to mark the 27th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Twenty activities of the Youth Congress donated the blood in response to the call given by Youth Congress State President M Anil Kumar Yadav.

Speaking on the occasion, Youth Congress district unit General Secretary Raparthi Sharath Kumar said Rajiv Gandhi had introduced technology in the country for all-round development. The credit for providing free education to the students belonging to Dalith, Tribal and Backward Communities from class 6th to 12th by establishing Jawar Navodaya Residential Schools across the country should go to Rajiv Gandhi, he pointed.

Youth Congress leaders R Sathyanarayana, M Kranthi Kumar, T Saikrishna, Narsingh Prasad, SK Bablu, SK Qasim, B Upendar, B Srinu, Md. Rafiq, M Sunil Kumar, V Ranganath and S Chaitanya were present along with others.
