Mahbubnagar: Urging for increase in reservation and representation for the Backward Classes communities in areas of education, employment and political aspects, Rachala Yughandar Goud, Secretary of Telangana BC Welfare Association said that in spite of BC community accounts for more than 50 per cent of the population in the State, there was only 15 per cent representation in education, employment and political arena.

He said that it was high time that the BCs got united and fought for their rights. of more representation as per the population ratio. “We have been deprived of political power for the past 70 years. The upper caste community, which is not even 10 per cent of total population, is enjoying more than 80 per cent in jobs, politics and education, while the BCs are just 15 per cent,” said Yughandar Goud, while taking part in a meeting in Kottakota mandal of Wanparthy district on Tuesday.
