Officials asked to work in coordination

Khammam: District Collector Siddharth Jain directed officials to work in coordination for saving standing crops in the coming 15 days. He was addressing Agriculture Officials and Assistant Engineers of Electricity department through satellite conference at District Collectorate here on Sunday. He reviewed condition of standing crops and power supply to farm sector across the district. He stated that standing crops should not be withered due to negligence of the officials.The Collector told the electricity officials to supply adequate power to areas where crops like paddy, maize and chili are in final stages of cultivation. Joint Collector K Surendranath, DRO TA Jayachandar and others were present.
