Khammam : As several hundreds of farmers were badly affected by Nilam cyclone last year, the District Collector Siddarth Jain has asked the bank officials to reschedule the loans taken by farmers during Kharif season in 2012. The Collector has received a letter from Reserve Bank of India for rescheduling of loans. The rescheduling of loans would be applicable to the farmers who had raised their crops during June 2012 to December 2012.
The District Collector, in a press release issued here on Monday, has directed the Deputy Supply Officers (of Civil Supplies Department) and village officials to display the lists of white ration card holders at Gram Panchayat offices.The officials have to split big families and issue ration card holders to the small families, he said.
